Today Panthers enjoyed a day out of the classroom at Easton & Otley College. For the children this was their second visit to the College but this time for a different reason. We spent the morning wandering the fields and learning about the various animals that they have on site. The afternoon was very interesting. Norfolk primarily grows five crops - wheat, barley, corn, rape and sugar beet.
When each of these crops are processed a by-product, or waste product is left over. These, which often are thrown out can be put to good use. We combined a number of by-products of these five crops to create feed for pigs.
Below is a report written by Elaria and Annabel as well as a video with voiceovers from Archie and Evie F.
We're a class of year 3/4 children from Kenninghall in Norfolk.
